Film Acting: Scene Work Masterclass (5 Evenings)
November 17 @ 7:00 pm - December 15 @ 9:30 pm¥25,000
Learn what it takes to impress casting directors, agents and audience in Hollywood, New York and London in 2022. Discover how to let your talent stand out against international competition.
In this 5 week class you will take a scene all the way from table read to performance ready.
Through physical and emotional exercises you’ll get to train your “acting muscles” and expand your knowledge on different techniques and approaches. You’ll discover which techniques work best to show your unique talent and build the confidence and lasting skills to apply what you learned outside of the class in every audition and on every film set.
You’ll be assigned a scene and matched with a scene partner. You’ll discover the character, relationship, goals and mannerisms of your particular scene and then work over three weeks to make the best possible choices to bring out your very best performance.
Some of the aspects we’ll cover are:
- Scene Analyses
- Making strong and unique choices
- Physical and emotional preparation before starting a scene
- Truly connecting with your scene partner
- Balancing preparation and being present in the moment
In the final class we will film your scenes, you’ll receive feedback based on your on screen performance and of course you get to keep the material for your own personal use.
