The classes consist of two parts:

First, students will be sent instructions for exercises, scenes or monologues to work on individually and film themselves (phone camera is sufficient for this) when completing the task.

Then every participant of the class gets the chance to watch everyone else’s material and receive feedback from Marei, our instructor, in a live session on “zoom” (video meeting app – can be used on phone, desktop or within a web browser)

Exercises, scenes and monologues will be sent as soon as we receive payment, at least 24 hours before the start of the session, to give students enough time to complete the exercise and upload their video material.

The live sessions will be held (online on “zoom”) at the following times:

Wednesday 7pm-8pm
Friday 7pm-8pm
Sunday 5pm-6pm

However, availability at those times is not mandatory, because the entire feedback session will be recorded and made available to all group members for at least 24 hours after the session. Participation in the live session is encouraged so you can ask individual questions and discuss with other participants, but you won’t miss anything if you are not available at the specific time.

For people curious about acting, who don’t want to commit to submitting their own material just yet, it is also possible to join individual feedback sessions as an auditor.

Requirements to join the classes:

• Phone or Computer with internet connection
• Commitment to 3 classes at a time (as you’ll be working on the same material for at least 3 sessions to achieve the best possible result)

Fees:

Participation: 6000¥ / week
Auditing: 1000¥ / session
