Authentic Acting: Reaching an International Audience | Weekend Intensive
December 14 @ 10:00 am - December 15 @ 6:00 pm¥25000
If you are an actor, who is looking to fine-tune their performance to impress and reach a wide international audience – especially in the English speaking film industry – then this is the class to truly open new doors for you and elevate your acting to a whole new level.
In this intensive weekend class, you will discover new facets of your craft, learn new tools and find out what casting directors and audience alike are looking for in your performance.
You will find out what makes you unique in your acting and how to present the best of your talent in a way that will capture audiences around the globe!
You will work with a scene partner on a scene that you are assigned before the class begins, to give you time to prepare in your own way to get the most out of the course.
In the morning on both days there will be exercises and some theory to help you get focused and ready to unleash all of your creative talent! Then, in the afternoons we will apply what you learned directly to your scene work.
Some of the aspects we will cover:
- What makes you unique as an actor and how do you best showcase your talent?
- What are the most important things to capture an audience immediately?
- How to prepare for a scene?/ An audition?
- How to make the most of working with your scene partner?
- How to gain confidence to enter an unknown market?
This class is open to actors on all different levels of experience. However, an at least average understanding of English will be necessary to get the most out of this class.
This class is for you, if you are ready to take on the challenge to grow beyond what you thought your own limits were in your performance and career.
Space is limited to 10 actors, so an early sign-up is recommended.
